The TechPSC Nepal app collects the following data when you sign in with Google:
The techpsc.com website collects minimal data:
- Usage & Device Data — Browser type, anonymized IP, pages visited, time spent. Used for analytics only.
- Contact Form — Name and email only if you contact us directly via the contact form.
- Log Files — Standard server logs (IP, timestamp, referrer) for security. Not linked to identity.
- Cookies — Essential (site function), Analytics (Google Analytics), Advertising (Google AdSense).
The website has no registration, login, or user accounts. Quiz/test progress on the website is stored locally in your browser only.
- App Functionality — Personalized progress tracking, quiz history, streak, leaderboard.
- Advertising — Google AdMob displays ads to keep the app free for everyone.
- Analytics — Firebase Analytics helps us understand which features are used.
- Crash Reporting — Firebase Crashlytics helps us fix bugs and improve stability.
- Push Notifications — Daily tips and exam notices via OneSignal (you can disable in Android settings).
We use the following trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore database, Analytics, Crashlytics. Privacy Policy →
- Google AdMob — In-app advertisements. May use GAID for ad personalization. Opt-out: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads
- OneSignal — Push notifications for daily tips and exam notices. Privacy Policy →
- Google Analytics — Website usage statistics (anonymized IP).
- Google AdSense — Website advertisements (contextual, not personalized by default).
We retain your data only as long as necessary:
- App account data — Until you delete your account.
- Contact form submissions — Up to 24 months.
- Server logs — Up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Analytics data — Anonymized and aggregated.
You can permanently delete your TechPSC account and all associated data at any time:
- Open TechPSC Nepal app
- Go to Profile tab (bottom navigation)
- Scroll down → tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
Or email us at official@techpsc.com to request manual deletion.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — Request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction — Update incorrect information via your Google account or app profile.
- Deletion — Delete your account and all data (see Section 6).
- Opt-out of ads — Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete Advertising ID.
- Opt-out of notifications — Android Settings → Apps → TechPSC Nepal → Notifications → Off.
To exercise any right, email official@techpsc.com. We respond within 30 days.
TechPSC Nepal is designed for adults preparing for government technical exams. Our services are not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately at official@techpsc.com and we will delete it promptly.
